Sliding: only needed if the sash overlaps the frame — otherwise a standard pleated screen is enough.
The sliding system uses an extra profile. It is only needed when the opening sash of your window, door or patio door projects beyond the frame — the extra profile then makes up that difference and lets the screen close properly.
If the sash does not project, this profile serves no purpose: a standard pleated screen is enough, single panel or twin panel depending on the width of the opening. It costs less.
Not sure? Ask our adviser — a photo of your opening is all it takes to decide.
Where exactly to measure?
Measure the clear opening. Add no margin at all to the width; on the height you can measure generously. See the measuring guide →
What the screen needs. The profile screws onto the frame, around the opening. Without 2.5 cm of bearing surface, there is nothing to fix the frame to.

Frequently asked questions
What is the largest size available?
It depends on the range and configuration: SLIM goes up to 2,200 mm wide and 2,200 mm high, SMART up to 5,000 × 3,000 mm as a twin panel. The configurator adjusts the limits automatically to match your choices. Screens below 1,700 mm high are available too, but the pleat stack then takes up a visible share of the opening: a roller screen is often neater.
Does the colour change the price?
No. White, anthracite and brown all cost the same, unlike most of the market where anthracite carries a surcharge.
What happens if I get my measurements wrong?
The Measurement Guarantee covers one remake per order: you pay the carriage only. Read the measuring guide before you order — it covers the three most common situations.
Can I fit the screen myself?
Yes. The screen arrives ready to fit, it mounts onto the face of the frame, and the job takes 30 to 45 minutes. The installation guide walks through every step.
I am a trade customer — is there a trade price?
Yes. Resellers, joiners and blind fitters get a dedicated price list. See the reseller area.
