Trackers
Cookie policy
In force as of 28 September 2026
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file, or more broadly a tracker, placed on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your device and to remember certain information about your browsing or your preferences.
This policy is established in accordance with article 82 of the French law of 6 January 1978 as amended, transposing Directive 2002/58/EC (“ePrivacy”), and with the CNIL recommendation on cookies and other trackers.
Who is responsible for placing cookies?
The data controller is VITRECO, 12 rue de la Part-Dieu, 69003 Lyon, France. Email: contact@vitreco.eu.
Your choices
- Refusing non-essential trackers is as easy as accepting them: the “Accept all” and “Reject all” buttons are presented at the same level and in an equivalent format.
- No tracker subject to consent is placed until you have expressed a positive choice.
- Your choice is kept for six months, so that you are not asked again on every visit.
- You may change or withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.
Which trackers do we use?
1. Strictly necessary trackers (exempt from consent)
These are essential to the operation of the site and cannot be disabled (article 82, II of the law of 6 January 1978). They serve only to remember your choice regarding trackers.
2. Audience measurement
We use no audience measurement tool. No tracker of this kind is placed, and no browsing data is sent to any third party.
3. Functional trackers
We place none. The display language is carried by the page address and requires no tracker.
4. Advertising and targeting trackers
We place none.
List of trackers placed
A single tracker is placed by this site. The list below is exhaustive as of the date shown at the top of this document.
| Name | Issuer | Purpose | Lifetime | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
vitreco_consent | Site | Storing your choice regarding trackers | 6 months | Exempt |
The same value is also kept in your browser’s local storage, so that your choice survives cookie clearing by a cleanup tool. It contains only your decision — accept or reject — and no identifier.
How to manage trackers
Through our banner: on your first visit it lets you accept or reject. You can revisit that choice at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.
Through your browser, you can also configure your preferences:
Refusing or deleting the consent tracker has the sole effect of showing you the banner again on your next visit.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction. To exercise them, see our privacy policy or write to us at contact@vitreco.eu. You may also contact the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr).
